A Very Special Flag

AMERICAN FLAG at the Henderson County Public Library, North Carolina, November 2005

OPERATION TOASTY TOES was pleased to display a 3-x 5-foot American Flag that was flown over Iraq on 08 June 2005 sent by Company A 1st Battalion 105th Aviation Regiment (GSAB), 42nd Infantry Division (M) New Jersey Army National Guard. It is an honor to accept this flag sent by "The Hooligans" deployed to FOB Speicher, Iraq supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom III. These service members are helicopter pilots who are prime targets of the insurgents.
The certificate accompanying the flag says it all. The volunteers and supporters of this for several years know just how important it is to continually demonstrate support for these service members serving "In Harm's Way." We look upon it as a permanent testimony of Chapter 7's commitment to American troops.
